Professional Biography

Eric Chan is a dynamic and compassionate professional with over 30 years of international experience as a trainer, business and life/relationship coach, and management consultant. His career has spanned Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, where he has empowered individuals and organisations to thrive through transformative learning and development.

An accredited life coach and certified NLP practitioner, Eric specialises in personal effectiveness, leadership development, team building, sustainable development, and organisational health. He has served as a senior advisor to LIFE Academy in Karlstad, Sweden, contributing to advanced training and consultancy programmes focused on knowledge exchange for sustainable development and information communication and technology (ICT).

Eric holds a Master’s in International Business Administration (MIBA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE), a Postgraduate Certificate in Relationship Marketing (PGCRM), and a PhD in Strategic Studies. His professional development includes certifications in alternative therapies and facilitation methods such as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Mental Health Q48, Belbin, DISC, Celemi, mindfulness, CPD, and business strategy simulations.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI), a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management (FIoL), a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), and a Fellow of the Digital Marketing Association (FDMA). Currently, Eric serves as Chartered Fellow/Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, and Programme Director for the CMI Level 7 dual-award programmes at Regent’s University London.

Guided by a deep passion for the Tao of Life, Eric is committed to helping individuals awaken their inner wisdom and realise their full potential. He is also a SEEDS (Self-Enrichment, Empowerment, and Discoveries of Possibilities) Practitioner, a motivational speaker, and co-author of The Key to Coaching: Learning, Application, and Practice (2016) and The Key to Coaching: Unlocking Your Potential (2019).
