Our friendly Student Experience Team is here to help you manage your studies. The team offers one-to-one appointments where we answer all your study related questions, compile a study plan, monitor your progress, and work together to keep you on track.

This support is tailored to you, confidential, and will last for as long as you need it.

5 Steps for Success!

Keep track of your deadlines: Make a note of these at the beginning of each module. You could put them on your electronic (or wall) calendar.

Find a good daily routine: A daily routine that works for you helps you keep on top of your work and ensure you find time to relax after studying hard.

Make sure you understand your feedback: It’s important to understand (or clarify) the feedback your module tutors give you, so that you can improve.

Keep in touch with your tutor: Your module tutor is there to assist you with your learning throughout your module. It is important to keep in touch with them throughout your module to clarify anything you’re unsure about.

Keep in touch with your Student Experience Officer: Struggling to keep on top of your deadlines and your workload? Your Student Experience Officer is here to help. They can meet with you in person or online to offer advice and help you organise your studies. They can also put you in touch with the relevant teams across the university to help you make the most of your experience. To get in touch, email [email protected].

Need help understanding, planning and composing your assessments? Help with maths or software? The Academic Skills Officers are here to help. They can meet with you in person or online to offer support and guidance with your work. To get in touch, email [email protected].
