We can create a Student Support Agreement with you, which sets out the reasonable adjustments and support you may be eligible for during your studies at Regent’s. The adjustments we recommend will be tailored to your individual needs, taking into account your disability, long-term health condition, specific learning difference or mental health condition and how these affect your learning and daily life at university. To make sure we can put the right adjustments in place, please contact us as early as possible.
Examples of reasonable adjustments include, but are not limited to:
- Extended coursework deadlines
- Extended library loan periods
- A Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP)
Providing evidence
We may ask you to provide recent, relevant medical or diagnostic evidence so we can put the right support in place. If you don't have this yet, we'll guide you through the process of obtaining it.
- Specific learning differences (e.g., dyslexia): Please provide a full, post-16 diagnostic assessment report from a qualified professional.
- Other disabilities, long-term health conditions, or mental health conditions: A letter from a doctor or other healthcare professional is required.
If you need help obtaining medical evidence, we can provide a Medical Evidence Request Form for a healthcare professional to complete.
