How to apply for your visa
Before you make your visa application, you MUST have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from us – an electronic document confirming you've met our requirements and hold sufficient funds. You'll receive a link to an external platform, Enroly, where you'll fill in a form with:
- Your name, birthday, contact details, passport number
- When you’re planning to travel to the UK – and from where?
- How you intend to fund your studies and living costs
- If you've previously been refused a visa – and if so, why?
Once you receive your CAS, you can apply for your visa from the UKVI – the earliest you can apply is six months before your course starts, and you MUST apply within six months of receiving your CAS. Discover more about the application process.
Request your CAS
A CAS is an electronic document that confirms you’ve met our requirements and have sufficient funds. The deadline to start your CAS process varies depending on your circumstances, please refer to the table above to check which dates apply to you.
Remember, UKVI are processing thousands of visa applications right now, so we advise you to get in as soon as possible. See the current visa processing times from UKVI.
CAS processing time
It typically takes 2 working days to process a CAS request after confirming your details.
We strongly recommend choosing the priority visa service, where you’ll typically receive a decision on your application after 5 working days. The cost is £500 in addition to your application fee.
