Entry requirements 

These are the entry requirements for students from the United States.

American High School Diploma English Subject (Grade 11 or above) at grade D (1.0 or 60%)

SELT such as an IELTS with 5.5 overall and no less than 5.5 in each category

300-500 word personal statement

High School Diploma with minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0

ACT with a composite score of 23 (20 in each section) / ACT composite 26 (20 each section)
or
20 college credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5 / 30 college credits and a 2.5 GPA
or
Advanced Placement (AP) 3 3 / Advanced Placement (AP) 3 3 3
or
Total SAT I score minimum 1000 in total, 500 in Math and 500 in Reading and Writing / SAT I score minimum 1110 in total, 550 in Math and 550 in Reading and Writing

Bachelor's degree from United States of America with minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0

English language proficiency*

500-700 word personal statement

* English language proficiency can be evidenced through the completion of an undergraduate degree from an English majority speaking country (or an authorised teaching centre where the course was taught in English, with the exception of Canada).

In addition to the academic requirements, you will need to meet our English language requirements. We accept the following English qualifications from the US:

  • High School Graduation Diploma (Grade 11 and above): C/2.0/70%
  • SAT Evidence Based Reading & Writing: minimum score of 500
  • ACT English: minimum score of 26
  • SAT Subject Test English Literature: minimum score of 600
  • AP English Literature and Composition: 3 (foundation and undergraduate), 4 (postgraduate)
  • School Certificate (GCE): 6
