Visiting Professorships

An insider’s view of British luxury

Behind Regent’s ivy-clad facade beats the heart of a challenger institution. We offer a well-connected education that nurtures students’ unique talents and develops their ability to solve tomorrow’s global challenges.

Masterclasses • Internships • Guest speakers • Behind-the-scenes visits

We are delighted to unveil our Visiting Professorships – our latest collaboration that recognises some of the most influential figures in British luxury. Harrods: a long-standing partnership

Harrods Managing Director, veteran retailer Michael Ward, is a founding member of the Visiting Professorships programme. In the past, Regent's students have been invited for breakfast and behind-the-scenes tours of Harrods, attended exclusive guest lectures on campus and, above all, heard intriguing insights on the world-famous destination store.

As active members of the Walpole British luxury network, we share a common interest in strengthening the sector’s talent pipeline, and helping students on our flagship courses connect with luxury leaders in order to shape their careers.

Industry-led learning

We believe students learn deepest when they’re challenged, when they’re active participants, and making things happen. They’re learning by doing, working on live projects, collaborating in teams. This is how things get done in the real world.

Industry-led learning

At Regent’s, students study a rich, deep curriculum that starts in the classroom, but extends far beyond – into the campus, into London, and into the world.

Prominent industry leaders help to design our future-facing curriculum – a curriculum that bridges traditional disciplines and allows students to broaden their industry connections and horizons.

London truly is our classroom, with classes taking place on the city streets and behind-the-scenes of some of the city’s most iconic brands. Students take on internships

On campus, students can benefit from rich learning opportunities, including guest lectures and masterclasses from subject matter experts, and specialist workshops to help them develop their career aspirations.
