Regent's alumna Gracey Owusu-Agyemang has been awarded the Sustainable Emerging Designer Award at Monte Carlo Fashion Week in Monaco.
Gracey showed her work at Monte Carlo Fashion Week as part of a collaboration with Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London x Pavillon Bosio.
The award celebrates Gracey's commitment to socio-ecological sustainable practices and regenerative fashion.
Since graduating from Regent's, Gracey has had a series of successes in the industry. In 2022, she launched fashion label DIJÁGO with fellow Regent's alumna Khudija Zaib.
In 2023, the duo designed a bespoke gown for actress Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso, I May Destroy You), which she wore to the British Vogue and Tiffany & Co Celebrate Fashion & Film party.
In early 2024 she was awarded the HUMANATURE Award for Responsible Design, as part of a London Fashion Week show by Central Saint Martins MA Fashion students.
This year Gracey and Khudija returned to Regent's for a collaboration with HOFF which saw students submit designs for a new limited edition sneaker to celebrate the opening of their new Regent Street store. Gracey joined an expert panel of judges from across the fashion industry – including Louis Roe, Remy Farrell and Aberto Giménez – who named Macarena Yagüe, a current second-year fashion and design student at Regent's, as the winner.
