This degree trains you to think like an entrepreneur: spotting opportunities, navigating uncertainty, driving innovation and building successful organisations. You’ll master the fundamentals of business (including finance, operations, law and organisational behaviour), while developing a mindset and toolkit tailored for starting, transforming or leading ventures in a volatile world.

What to expect
Business and entrepreneurship is the foundation of our economy and society.
This course is inherently hands-on – you’ll be applying theory to existing businesses with live briefs and case studies, as well as formulating and developing your own concepts. Taking part in practical challenges, you’ll move from idea generation to execution: iterating business models, testing assumptions, analysing markets, refining your offering and scaling your proposals.
You’ll learn all the key skills needed in business, including how to manage risk, build teams, leverage technology and pivot when necessary. Choosing from a range of special electives – covering social enterprise, AI, creative ventures and more – gives you the chance to home in on your personal business interests.
At Regent’s, business is a core part of our community’s identity. Many of your fellow students come from entrepreneurial backgrounds, and they’ll become the cornerstone of your professional network – alongside our own impressive industry connections. Prestigious guest speakers, including senior leaders from multinational brands and inspirational Regent’s alumni, will regularly give you exclusive insights into current industry challenges and opportunities.
Business stretches to every corner of the globe. You’ll translate your learning to global contexts as you work alongside students from all around the world who share your entrepreneurial spirit. In Year Two, you can opt to spend a term abroad, and your final year may include an international field trip to experience business overseas.

Foundation year
In your Foundation year, you'll gain a solid grounding in academic skills and principles, as well as an introduction to your chosen subject area. It will provide a rich and varied experience to ensure you’re prepared for degree-level study in the UK – ready to develop specialist knowledge and confidently make the most of your course.
Some modules will be taken with students heading towards the same or related subject areas, while others will be taken with a blend of students – enabling you to mix with peers who bring a range of different perspectives and experiences to the classroom. You’ll take two modules related to your subject area and eight shared modules covering key skills like communication, critical thinking, cultural understanding, politics, data, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Once you’ve successfully completed your Foundation year, you’ll directly progress to Year One of your chosen degree-level course.
