Global business skills are in hot demand – and now, Regent’s business faculty has received a record number of applications for 2020.
The surge in applications indicates that students are increasingly seeking practical programmes as they look to grow their hard and soft skills for the decade ahead.
‘Our programmes aim to develop tomorrow’s global leaders with current international business skills, such as innovation, critical thinking and adaptability. Students learn by solving real-life challenges, and gain perspective from our personalised, active and collaborative curriculum,’ says Dr Vincent Ong, Head of Programme, BA (Hons) International Business.
This achievement comes with exciting new changes to two of the faculty’s business programmes, BA (Hons) International Business, and BA (Hons) Global Management, which teach skills like leadership, creative thinking and entrepreneurship. These changes empower students in both programmes to:
- Complement their degree with practical work placements
- Participate in collaborative entrepreneurship projects
- Take language modules
- Study a term abroad at one of Regent’s partner institutions, to expand their global network. network.
The application pool features more than 100 nationalities, reflecting Regent’s deep global roots and adds to the Business and Management faculty’s already international cohort.
Students will learn from a diverse mix of voices, and gain perspective from teachers and peers from across the world. With students from more than 140 countries, Regent’s is the place to develop a global network and mindset – an essential part of doing business today.
